Born in 1990 in Italy, Bea Davies is an illustrator and Comic artist based in Berlin, Germany. After obtaining a Scholarship from the School of Visual Arts of New York in 2010, begins her studies in illustration. In 2015 starts studying Visual Communication at Weißensee School of Art Berlin. In 2016 wins the Comic Invasion Berlin Grant, which kickstarted a collaboration with the homeless newspaper “strassen|feger”. Since 2018 is a fellow of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. Currently working on her first Graphic Novel „Der König der Vagabunden ­– Gregor Gog und seine Bruderschaft“ which was shortlisted for the Leibinger Comic Prize 2019 and supported by the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and the Rudolf Augstein Stiftung. Publishes biographical Comics on her blog „Samurai’s Visual Journal“ and drew Comicreportages on various topics.
